Membership Requirements
At Business Connects NJ, we foster a collaborative environment where local business owners can connect, learn, and grow together. To ensure a productive and supportive community, we have established the following membership requirements:
Criteria for Membership
Active Business Engagement: Members should own, represent, or service a business in Central New Jersey, aiming to build lasting relationships within the local business community.
Commitment to Networking: Regular participation in our twice-weekly meetings on Tuesday and Friday mornings is encouraged to maximize networking opportunities and community involvement.


Expectations of Members
Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional demeanor during all events and interactions, focusing on building trust and mutual respect among members.
Contribution to Community: Actively share knowledge, resources, and support fellow members to foster a collaborative environment that benefits all.
Engagement in Events: Participate in meetings, workshops, and other events to stay connected and informed about community activities and opportunities.
Obligations of Membership
Attendance for Speaking Opportunities: To be eligible for quarterly speaking opportunities, members must have attended at least 4 meetings in the past month or 50% of the meetings during that period.
Timely Arrival: Members are expected to arrive between 8:15 AM – 8:25 AM (before 8:30 AM) for meetings. Arrivals after this time may forfeit the opportunity to introduce themselves during the meeting.
Dues and Fees: Maintain good standing by ensuring all membership dues and any additional fees are paid promptly.

Ideal for long-term commitment and full access to all member benefits.
A one-time $25 administrative fee applies.
Room dues are additional and will be invoiced in November.
Renewal discounts may be available for existing members on their anniversary date when paid within 15 days.
